An opportunity to meet your extraordinary family from North Korea. ‘Standing Strong’ is a celebration of how God is building His kingdom in the most dangerous places to be a Christian. The evening will be full of inspiration and challenge from the persecuted church. Come and be inspired by the courageous faith of Hannah (not her real name), a Christian from North Korea. It’s a unique opportunity to hear directly from Christians who have experienced persecution themselves.
14th November at Newtown Evangelical Church, 7.30-9.00pm, £5.
Please contact Revd Miriam to book tickets and co-ordinate lifts.
On Sunday 6th October, Alwyn Evans and Margaret Hughes led us in a Harvest hymn-sing. We enjoyed listening to their solos as well as singing traditional hymns altogether. A collection was taken for St Peter’s organ fund.
That same evening an Art Exhibition was launched, and we were delighted to have Ann Hulme with us to see her work on display for the first time. Ann is a member of our extended church family, receiving holy communion at her home in Llanwrin. We hope that many visitors will enjoy the exhibition and perhaps make a donation to the organ fund.
