Ladies Fellowship - November 2017

Muriel welcomed members to the November meeting and led a short service, the reader was Maureen. Muriel then thanked her and the Tea Hostesses.

Celia Fletcher was welcomed as a new member and Kathleen welcomed back after her mission to Uganda. Apologies were received from Dorothy and Angela. The minutes were read and accepted.

Our Harvest Supper was a great success once again with 50 attending, all were wonderfully entertained by three local talented youngsters.

Letters of thanks were received for donations to the Archbishops Fund and Christian Aid.

We are invited join Mother’s Union for their Carol Service on Tuesday 19th December at 11:00 am then to the Riverside Pennal for Christmas Lunch. Our own Christmas Lunch will be at the Golf Club on Saturday 6th January, a list was sent round for names.

Muriel introduced Llinos Griffiths who was awarded a grant from the Prince’s Trust to enable her to start up her business, making and selling soaps. Dyfi Naturals use all natural ingredients and oils, there are ten different perfumes, Lavender, Rose, Earl Grey Tea and Tea Tree Oil, just a few available been available. There are strict standards for their processing and registered with the E.U. Ann thanked Llinos for a very interesting demonstration and wished her well in her future venture.

The Christingle Service will be on the 5th January.
