Holy Trinity Corris held its commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the RAF on Saturday 22nd September. The Service was led by Reader, Christina Miller together with the Reverends George and Mary Bolt who are the RAFA Chaplains to Tywyn Branch.

The service was well attended, including by the RAFA members who paraded their Standards. The tens of thousands of RAF personnel who died in the two World Wars and who are still suffering in various combat situations right up to the present day, were remembered together with the irony that fighting is often necessary in order to achieve peace and to protect the freedoms we enjoy in this country.
