Ysgol Hyddgen Christingle
On Thursday 8th December, Rev. Katleeen attended Ysgol Hyddgen and helped the puplis make heir Christingles. The children all attended St. Peter's Church on Friday 9th December for a Chrstingle service.
Lighting Machynlleth Christmas Tree
Thursday night in Machynlleth was cold but thankfully dry as the decorations on the Christmas tree by the clock tower were lit. The Mayor of Machynlleth was on hand to officiate the proceedings and Rev. Canon Kathleen Rogers attended to lead everyone in a prayer and the singing of carols and invite everyone back to St. Peter's Church afterwards for a warming glass of mulled wine and a mince pie. There were crafts for the children to take part in as well.
The rotary club were in attaendance together with santa clause and a sleigh with two great looking reindeer.
The whole event was wonderully accompanied by Machynlleth Wind Band.

Cawl a Chlonc
Roedd Dydd Iau Tachwedd 3ydd yn ddiwrnod cyffrous i ni fel Tîm Bugeiliol wrth inni gynnal ein sesiwn gyntaf o Cawl a Chlonc lan llofft yn Eglwys St Pedr gan ddefnyddio’r cyfleusterau gwych sydd ar gael yno. Daeth nifer dda ynghyd o’r Ardal Weinidogaeth i fwynhau cinio ysgafn wedi’i baratoi gan y tîm. Yna i ddilyn cawsom y pleser o gwmni Matt ac Anna o Eglwys Mallwyd a ddaeth i’n diddanu gyda deuawdau hyfryd ar yr organ a’r ffidil.
Thursday Novemeber 3rd was an exciting day for us as a Pastoral Team when we held our first Cawl a Chlonc session in the mezzanine at St Peter’s Church, using the wondreful facilities available. There was a good gathering from across the Ministry Area who came to enjoy a light lunch prepared by the team. After lunch it was a pleasure to have Matt and Anna with us from Mallwyd Church who entertained us with beautiful duets on the organ and violin.
Service of Thanksgiving
On Sunday 2nd October there was a Service of Thanksgiving for the Restoration and Reordering of St. Peter's Church. People attended from all over the area and St. Peter's was full.
Bishop Andy John of Bangor Cathedral was in attendance.
Following the service, refreshments were served on the newly opened mezzanine floor.

Sponsored Organ Playing
Jen Evans; Susan Jones and John Rogers our organists who played their socks off at St Peter's today from 11am till 3.30pm, to raise funds for our Ministry Area.
